This a slow month for articles clipped to the Newsviner's Picks Group, but no worries, they will pick up again. Sometimes it slows down! Here are the few that were clipped. First an article about been a good Newsvine writer, Guideline for how to become a happy and decent Newsvine Member. The twenty steps, by By henry1966 (Clipped by Scott (Scoop) Butki) is a was a great time reading because lots of writers need a reminder of the conduct they need to follow. "20. Stealing from one person is plagiarism but stealing from many is doing research......( sarcastic). Which leads me to tell you to make sure you use emoticons to express the way you meant something." the other 19 are great also, just thought this was one that has to be, especially followed.
Part II - Of Finding a Job or a Way to Earn A Living, by Charlie Courtios outlines a few thing that should be done to get a job in these trying times. "The next step in "Remaking Yourself" is going to have several options depending on what your decision is about your real: skills, knowledge, and ability. At this point you will need to decide on a plan with several options..." is what I find the most eye popping sentence, since for the past year and a half I have been one of those trying to reinvent himself into something better. The article has some great suggestions that should be looked at carefully.
Wolfman's World View: "IT DOESN'T MATTER!," by Wolf Wolfman is a small but to the point article that everything in this world should matter to everyone, at all times and with every corner. "...and the attitude that “it doesn’t matter” is destructive to society. This is true in the United States, and it is true in the world. It was destructive in the 1930’s and probably before that. It's destructive now."
The final article is a great article about a visit to a museum, Eye Witness View of the Chickawas Cultural Center of Oklahoma, by Vintage Viner describes the visit to the Native American Museum and the way the writer learned so much about the Chickawas tribe. "This is a gorgeous place to vacation, with the Lake of the Arbuckles nearby, to enjoy boating, fishing, swimming and camping. The world famous Bedre' Chocolate Factory is near Paul's Valley, The Toy and Action Figure Museum in Davis."
November was short and sweet but later months will surely be packed with great articles.
